My Story
My Name is Kristen Johnson. I am married with two grown children… but that is not my story. My story is one that began a long time ago. You see I have always wanted to be a teacher… at least that was what I was told by my mother. Before I even had a chance to know for myself my mother had it decided that I was going to be a special educational teacher. It sounded good at the time so I agreed. However, that isn’t what happened to me. I became a mother at a very young age and found myself married with a new baby girl and I was still a child myself. My husband loved me but he was one of those guys that thought he was going to make a career out of music. I LOVE music so I supported his dream as long as he has had it. He later realized that his family came before music and we have done well now. Married for 21 year at the time I write this. I always had a passion to be creative and I never really knew what it was I was looking for. I make my own jewelry and I sell that but there was something missing… That something was my relationship with Jesus Christ. Yes, I am a Christian business woman and I my whole life revolves around that. I am currently going back to school at a Christian collage for psychology and my goal is to be a counselor for couples. God is now first in my life, husband, family, and so on. It was this relationship with God and the relationship with music that my husband still has a passion for that lead me to this wonderful world of Scentsy. In comes Hillary Giuffre. I made friends with Hillary when her husband and mine were in a band together. We found that we had a lot of the same passions. God being on the top but a sense of wanting something creative and wonderful to call our own. She introduced me to the Scenty product line. I fell in love with the products, the smells, the affordable costs, it was everything I loved rolled into one. I fast became a customer of hers and I was very content to just place orders. But, being a woman of faith like Hillary is she shared with me that though she loved me as a customer she could tell that I could get SO much more out of having my own business and something that I could claim as mine and take ownership of its goodness. So that is where I started. As a customer that had a caring friend that could see that I needed something more in my life that I could share to the world. It also didn’t hurt that now we have even more in common with each other and have really cool parties together with friends to share everything that is Scentsy. My goal is to find people that are searching as well for that special something and share with them how Hillary Giuffre did for me. Building Dreams One person at a time.
